MSOS
Mission Statement

To represent Manitobans
age 50 plus by promoting their needs and concerns
and by presenting a positive image of older adults in the community. The Manitoba Society of Seniors Inc. was started by a group of older Manitobans in 1979 who
felt there was a need for
a united voice on issues affecting them.

Journal - Fifty and Beyond

The MSOS  Journal is the official publication of the Manitoba Society of Seniors.  It is an informative monthly newspaper with a focus on topics relevant to Manitobans age 50 and over.

The Journal is mailed to MSOS members as part of their benefits package. Complimentary copies are available at a variety of commercial and non-profit outlets in Winnipeg and rural Manitoba after members have received their copy.

Recent issues have featured special themes such as health, seniors housing, finances and active living. Regional reports, membership benefits, healthy living advice, MSOS Travel tours, 55 Plus Games information, a bridge column and human interest stories are part of the monthly paper.
