Active Living Tip
How to stay active outside during the cold winter months:
- Choose an activity you enjoy.
- Wear adequate clothing.
- Pay attention to what you are doing and take the time to do it safely.
- Plan your route with appropriate rest stops / places to warm up.
- Head out into the wind.
- Wear sun protection (yes, even in the winter!).
- Stay hydrated.
- Reduce the length of time outside based on the particular temperature that day.

55 Plus Games

Regional Playoffs
Playoffs are held in April and May every year and qualify participants for the 55 Plus Games in June.
The regional playoffs are open to everyone over the age of 55.
Participants that qualify have the option of playing in the 55 Plus Games, but qualifiers DO NOT HAVE TO continue onto the 55 Plus Games
The play off schedule and contact information for your region will be provided in early spring.
If you would like to participant in one of the play off events, but do not have a regional representative for your region, please contact the MSOS office at 942-3147, ext. 302 or 1-800-561-6767.
